All these attributes are aimed at achieving the maximum speed (or shortest time) to return the shuttle, thereby exerting maximum time pressure on your opponent.

Take the case of my analysis: A former MAS player was "killed" when his smash(from forehand corner) was returned to the front corner within 1.20 second (after the smash contact). The time was too short for him to move diagonally across the court. Knowing the travel duration of the shots will give the player better understanding why the speed is important in the game.
yes this is something...thanks for sharing!

Actually every player also know need more speed, the most important thing is how to move faster. Increase strength, stamina and reflex is the basic thing to move faster. But is there other way to increase speed...........

The key is to use your speed before the opponent does it Increasing your speed chasing after the shuttle is not as useful as using your speed to apply pressure on your opponent. You can easily outplay your opponent by being quicker for every shuttle returned. Then your opponent will be more and more out-of-position for your easy kill. When you are on the defensive, you normally get out of the situation by using the high lob or high lift to recover to your central base. You use it to reset the time advantage. You don't hit a fast return shot because it will only attract a quicker response, putting you in an awful suicidal position. In short, it is more important to use your speed(including reflex, reach) to build up the advantage in the rally, rather than chasing the shuttle under pressure. Understanding the importance of building up time advantage during a rally will certainly make a player stronger. Knowing how to reset or nullify the time advantage makes the player resllient. Hope you like this TIME concept.

After observe for many weeks, i feel the purpose of our both legs is different.
    As i am right handed,
Left leg is for pushing, for fast moving forward.
right leg is for stability and fast return.
    any opinion??

I am not KKK and TBH fans, but how come they beaten so badly by the Denmark player.
Even lost, at least with a better score.

above in bold reminds me of former mas player, ong beng tiong. when he rallied in a game and found that he was going to be in trouble, he usually lobbed very3x high - while watching the game, i sometime wonder if he could actually go out of the court, wipe his face and back and return the shuttle..

Yah, no kidding... manyak malu! For the sake and self respect of KKK/TBH, they better hope that the Danes will go on to win the AE. At least then they can say, look these Danes are really that good!

    This from AE tournament?
Nice picture, but i see this is not jumping smash.
The shuttle is out, LCW had judged the shuttle should be out so let it pass.
Cause i can see the shuttle had passed his body.

Now only the new shuttle looks very "unreal" for that situation.
